Tokyo Otaku Mode’s First Brick-and-Mortar Shop to Open in Shibuya PARCO!

Tokyo Otaku Mode Inc. (incorporated in Delaware, U.S.; representative: Tomohide Kamei; CEO: Naomitsu Kodaka; herein referred to as TOM) will open its first brick-and-mortar shop, Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO, in late November 2019. The shop will be located in Shibuya PARCO, managed by Parco. Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo), on the 6th floor, which will have the theme TOKYO CULTURE. Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO is scheduled to open simultaneously with Shibuya PARCO’s reopening.

TOM, which has a concept of “spreading Japanese pop culture to the world” and has grown via the internet, will use its first brick-and-mortar shop to present TOM original products based on popular anime, manga, and games made with a unique point of view.

As tourism to Japan is estimated to reach its peak in 2020, Shibuya has become a place where tourists from around the world gather. It is a very important area to TOM, which works to bring the proud pop culture that Japan boasts to the world.

Shibuya PARCO, which has always brought forth fashion, art, music, and other cutting-edge subcultures, will reopen after major renovations. Along with this reopening, the addition of Tokyo Otaku Mode TOKYO is to include a shop that will offer modern otaku culture to both domestic and international fans.
